How much does a letter cost?
From €1.20 for a one-page black-and-white letter within Germany, including print, envelope and postage. The price depends on the number of pages, colour, single- or double-sided printing, envelope, registered mail and destination. You always see it before sending, to the cent. All prices include 19% VAT.
When will my letter arrive?
Letters transmitted on working days by 4 pm are printed and handed to Deutsche Post the same day. Within Germany letters usually arrive in 1 to 3 working days. Track registered mail with the tracking number.
How do I pay?
You top up a credit balance (from €5, by card and other methods via Stripe, with invoice). The price of each letter is deducted before it is sent. If your credit is not enough, nothing is sent. No base fee, no subscription.
Can I cancel a letter?
Yes. Within the first 15 minutes after transmission (from 3:45 pm until 4:00 pm) and, for scheduled letters, until the dispatch day. The amount goes straight back to your credit.
What must my PDF look like?
A4 portrait, at most 100 pages. The address sits in the window: 20 mm from the left, 44 mm from the top, 85 × 45 mm. Keep 20 mm free to the left of the window. We check this automatically, embed missing fonts, fit the format and show a preview with the window.
What is the difference between the registered options?
With registered drop-off the carrier puts the letter into the letterbox and records this. With in-person registered mail it is only handed over against a signature. Both have a tracking number. From €6.28, only within Germany.
Can I send letters abroad?
Yes, worldwide. Choose the country in the address; we set the country line and calculate the international price. Registered mail is only available within Germany.
Is it also for private individuals?
Yes. Agile Letter is for private individuals and businesses. Our terms with the withdrawal policy for consumers apply.
How long is my credit valid?
Topped-up credit is valid for 24 months. We refund unused credit if you withdraw.
